This sparring chest protector is designed for maximum protection without restricting your mobility and movement. Ultra lightweight, this durable chest guard is only 1" thick with high density thermoformed polyethylene for excellent body protection. A special cut above the hip helps prevent the guard from shifting with your movements. This shock resistant chest guard also features a crisscross elastic strap for a comfortable contoured fit. Designed for light contact martial arts sparring. Molded, contour design. Lightweight - less than 1-1/2" thick and weighs only a few ounces which makes it less bulky to allow for excellent mobility. Made of a hard foam divided into sections to maximize impact absorption. Intended to reduce the risk and severity or accidental injury and to protect mid-section and chest areas during supervised, no contact or light contact martial arts sparring. Designed for mat sparing only and not for other or more intense use. Four point elastic harness straps plus adjustable nylon strap around waist allow for secure comfortable fit.
